Our Community Need
The Komen Vermont-New Hampshire Affiliate relies on the Community Profile process to guide our work. The Community Profile includes an overview of demographic and breast cancer statistics that highlight target areas, groups or issues. The statistics pinpoint where efforts will have the most impact. In order to ensure effective and targeted efforts it is important to also understand what programs and services gaps, needs and barriers exist. The Community Profile also provides an assessment of the community by including the voices of those living in the target areas.
